Professional Employee Services works because the employment relationship genuinely sits with Akontec. This page sets out what that means in practice — statutory, contractual and informational.
Each professional employee is appointed by Akontec on a written contract of employment. The following are administered by us and evidenced to you on request.
| Obligation | What we do | Evidence available |
|---|---|---|
| Employment contract | Appointment letter, role terms, notice, confidentiality and IP assignment | Redacted specimen on request |
| Payroll | Monthly processing, payslips, direct salary disbursal | Payroll processing confirmation |
| Provident Fund (PF) | Employer and employee contributions, monthly ECR filing | Challan / filing confirmation |
| Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) | Registration where applicable, contributions, claims support | Challan / filing confirmation |
| Professional tax | Deduction and remittance per state rules | Remittance record |
| TDS on salary | Deduction, deposit, quarterly returns, Form 16 issue | Filing acknowledgement |
| Gratuity & bonus | Provisioning and payment per applicable law | Provisioning confirmation |
| Leave & attendance | Statutory registers, leave records, shift rosters | Attendance summary per account |
| Exit | Notice administration, full and final settlement, relieving papers | Settlement confirmation |
Applicability of individual statutes depends on headcount, wage level, state and establishment registration. The position for your engagement is stated in the Master Services Agreement. This page is general information, not legal or tax advice — take your own advice on how the arrangement is treated for your entity and jurisdiction.
Your systems, your customers’ data and your commercial information are handled under a written information security schedule that forms part of the agreement.
We describe the controls we actually operate. Where you require a specific certification, framework attestation or client audit, say so during scoping and we will tell you plainly whether we hold it, can achieve it, or cannot. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
Nothing starts on a purchase order and a handshake. These are executed before recruitment begins.
The commercial and legal frame — scope, term, liability, indemnity, notice, dispute resolution and governing law.
Seats, roles, rates, shift pattern, billing cycle, escalation contacts and every exclusion. Fixed before hiring.
Confidentiality both directions, surviving the term, covering your data, customers, pricing and process knowledge.
The controls above, written as obligations, with the breach notification path and audit rights.
Where personal data is in scope: roles of the parties, permitted purposes, retention, deletion and cross-border handling.
An outsourcing arrangement you cannot leave cleanly is not a service, it is a lock-in. The exit terms are written into the MSA at the start, not negotiated at the end.
Share the job, the volume and the hours you need covered. You get a written proposal with the exact team shape, the monthly figure, the ramp plan and what we will not promise.
